Saturday babbling
Rob and I woke up to the sounds of Marty happily entertaining himself in his crib. For some reason, he was making truck sounds. Deep, gutteral, truck sounds. Did he hear one drive by? Was a book on the floor opened to display a fire engine or dump truck? There's no way to know. Needless to say, we were highly entertained.
Now that Rob has a great new job, weekends are special occasions instead of an extension of the same. Marty was quite thrilled to have Rob be his morning greeter. (Well, so was I!) They've just left for a fun trip to Home Depot - we need lightbulbs. Marty is wearing the pumpkin hat that I just finished knitting; it was too small for baby Evan (apparently Mary's babies have large heads). You'll have to use your imagination to picture me running gleefully from room to room, alone in the house for the first time in weeks. I leave you with this picture:
